Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO)

Investigates discrimination and harassment complaints (see EthicsPoint to the right), allegations of sexual misconduct, and accommodation requests for members of the Tufts community. 

Also helps Tufts community members connect with resources to assist with navigating resolution processes, including criminal or civil action. CARE can assist with navigating the OEO process.

 

Student Health Services

Medical care following assault or for urgent health concerns. Also offers STI testing and information on HIV pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP and PEP).

Go to the office as soon as possible or
make an appointment if you are concerned about a recent risky sexual encounter. If Health Services is closed, call 617-627-3350 and follow the prompts to reach the nurse line. 

CARE

CARE offers confidential, trauma-informed support for all students impacted by sexual misconduct or interpersonal violence. CARE also offers resources on sexual/reproductive health, asking for consent, using dating apps, navigating the OEO report process, and more.

Appointments can be in any format and you can share as much or as little as you like. You are under no obligation to share your name.

EthicsPoint

Anonymous platform maintained by Tufts OEO which can be used to file complaints of discrimination, sexual misconduct, or harassment.

Reports filed through EthicsPoint will be reviewed by OEO, who will determine next steps.
